Our Mission

Our mission is to determine and provide for the needs of individuals seeking urgent or supplemental assistance in Elko County and surrounding Northeastern Nevada.

FISH Services

We offer a variety of services to the Elko community, including:

Client Services

Applications for food services, mail and package pick-up, food schedules/programs
Bilingual

Hunger Grant

Food program, questions specific to food programs and services, including Medicaid & SNAP schedule

Samaritan House Emergency Shelter, referrals, emergency services

Thrift Store

Donations to the store are accepted during business hours, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all items accepted in working condition, books, records, clothes, kitchen items, cookware, and sporting goods.
*Vehicles/boats/RV’s accepted with a clear title, must run. Tax donation receipts are provided for all donations.
Volunteers, NV Promise Scholarship participants, and Community Service welcome.
